Since last time I’ve been detailing the base of the turret and adjoining wall. The top of the base is removable to allow access to servo which will eventually operate the turret. I’ve also added a rocket launcher in to the base for a bit of extra fire power.
The port side gun turret is finally completely clad in armour plate and riveted to within an inch of its life! I’ve tried to add various little details to keep it varied an interesting all over. The main feature around this side of the turret (not shown too well in the photo) is the panel [...]
Armour plating details has been added to half of the turret so far with various bits of damage and shoddy ork workmanship. I’ve also been working out the pose for the turret occupant with parts from the Ork Nobz sprue.

Today I’ve been working on the main port side turret. At the moment its still just structural, eventually the turret will be enclosed and armour clad.
